The Department of Anesthesiology at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center is conducting a national survey to assess provider practices and perspectives regarding intrathecal morphine use in the perioperative setting. Specifically, this survey seeks to better characterize how the following topics influence the use of intrathecal morphine:
- Provider perceptions of effectiveness of intrathecal morphine compared to systemic opioids
- Clinical and logistical barriers (e.g. need for higher level of monitoring, trained staff, hospital resource allocation)
- Risk of complications with intrathecal morphine use
Your participation is voluntary and the online questionnaire is estimated to take about ten minutes to complete.
The survey is available via this link: https://redcap.mhir.cloud/
